How do you care for Philodendron Dark Lord?

• Light: It likes bright, indirect light best, but it can handle low light too.
• It’s important to water the soil so that it stays moist but not soaked when the top inch is dry.
• It does best in high humidity; mist or add moisture.
• Temperature between 65°F and 80°F (18°C and 27°C).
• Plants should receive a balanced liquid fertilizer monthly during the growing season.
• Use a rich, draining organic potting mix.
• Remove yellow or dead leaves when pruning to promote growth.
• Regularly inspect the plant for bugs and airflow.

We ship a plant with 2–3 leaves. In-stock plants ship by USPS from our California warehouse within 1–3 business days and usually arrive 2–5 days later. Shipping is $12 for the first plant plus $4 for each additional plant, and $30 flat to Hawaii. We ship within the US only. If your plant arrives dead or badly damaged, we send a replacement when you report it within 3 days of delivery with an unboxing video.
