There is a bright succulent bush or small tree called White Ghost Cactus, which is also known as Euphorbia lactea variegata.

Though not a true cactus, this succulent shrub or small tree boasts thick, fleshy, triangular stems that come in white, green, pink, or yellow shades. As they get older, they grow straight up and branch out. It’s one of a kind because it has small, sharp thorns along the edges and a ghostly white color.

The White Ghost is from the tropical parts of Africa and Asia. It grows slowly and can get up to 6 feet tall in the wild, but it stays smaller as a houseplant. It can be kept at a manageable height of 1 to 3 feet with the right care and pruning, which makes it great for indoor gardening.

Keep an eye out for its pretty spring flowers, which are either yellow-white or greenish-yellow. There are brightly colored bracts around them that change color when you look at them. These blooms aren’t very bright, but they add some color and interest to your plant collection.
