Even if you don’t have a green thumb, you’ll find it easy to care for the Philodendron Atabapoense. The Philodendron Atabapoense is a relatively low-maintenance plant that is easy to care for. Here are some tips to help you keep your plant healthy and thriving:
Light
This rare plants prefers bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves, so it is best to keep the plant in a partially shaded area. You can put them near the window that get filtered sunlight.
Soil
We use sphagnum moss for the soil in our nursery. You can add perlite to make the soil well-drained. As a fertilizer, mix pine bark with a lot of organic matter.
Watering
This plant likes to be kept consistently moist, but not soaking wet. Water the plant when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Avoid letting the soil completely dry out, as this can harm the plant
Humidity and Temperature
The Philodendron Atabapoense thrives in high humidity environments. If your home is dry, you can increase the humidity by placing a tray of water near the plant or using a humidifier. You also can put them in warm temperature between 60–75 °F (16–24 °C). Avoid to put them outdoor during winter, they can’t survive in cold temperature.
